2. Follow Traffic Rules
Make sure to cross the street at corners and crosswalks. Stay on the sidewalks when walking.

3. Anybody Home?
Only visit houses that have the porch or front light on.

4. Check It Out
Make sure your costume is easy to walk in.  If you wear a mask, make sure you can see.

5. I See You! 
Make sure cars can see you in your costume!  If your costume is a dark color, put reflective tape on your trick or treat bag and your shoes.

6. Hey, Neighbor!
Visit only houses in your neighborhood.

7. Safety in Numbers
Bring a grown-up with you.

8. Sweet Treats
Wait until your parents check your candy before eating any.

9. Be Careful 
Look both ways before crossing streets.

10. The Game Plan
Plan your route with your family and stick to it.  Don't take short cuts.
